The Williams Lake Stampede Parade, held annually on the Saturday of Williams Lake Stampede Weekend, is one of the largest events in the City.
The beloved, annual community event attracts thousands of residents and visitors to the City’s downtown core during the Williams Lake Stampede weekend showcasing community organizations such as sports teams, not-for-profits, businesses and individuals, which participate in the spectacle.
Until March 6, 2023 at 4 pm, the City invites Expressions of Interest from local groups, individuals or companies for organization and implementation of the parade, taking place this year on July 1, 2023.
The City has $10,000 to contribute to the success of this parade, and will work with the successful applicant to review equipment required or available for use the day of the parade.
An informational meeting for interested parties will be held on February 28, 2023 at 5 pm at the Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex. Attendance is not mandatory for any applicant.
