City of Williams Lake Curbside Recycling Pickup
The City of Williams Lake would like to thank residents for their ongoing support of recycling initiatives in the City. Because of our combined efforts, thousands of tons of materials have been recycled instead of filling up the landfill. To ensure recyclables are suitable for processing, before placing them at the curbside for pickup please make certain they are clean and placed in clear or blue bags, sorted into the following categories:

* All tins combined together;
* All newspapers combined together;
* All cardboard combined together;
* All other paper products combined together (no glossy magazines or covers);
* All plastics #1 to #7 (no plastic bags please.)

Recyclables that are not separated or bagged, as outlined above, will not be picked up at the curbside.

Please also note that drop bins, including a bin for glass, are available for those who wish to drop off recycling behind the Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex, at the junction of Highway 20/South Lakeside Drive, and at the City's Landfill Site. Styrofoam is not recyclable in this area at this time.

The City of Williams Lake thanks you for your cooperation in this regard.

Please call Joe Engelberts, Manager of Water/Sewer at 392-1785, with any questions or concerns regarding recycling.
