On summer evenings Boitanio Park comes alive with music, every Thursday from early July 8th and running through to late August. The Performances in the Park Committee is busy putting together an exciting and diverse line-up of entertainers, this season. Genres include folk, country, pop, celtic, jazz and aboriginal.

In previous years, performances have started at 7:00 pm and generally run between 2.5 and 3 hours. Each evening performance featured an opening act and a headline act, comprised of local talent and a number of touring acts. 

Performances in the Park is a program of the Recreation Services Department and is free of charge. The concert series wouldn't be possible without the support of the corporate sponsors Cariboo GM and Barton Insurance as well as the many in-kind sponsors and evening sponsors.

Performances in the Park has grown steadily in popularity over the past summers, with crowds as high as 700 people. If the weather cooperates, we anticipate this season will be even better.
