The City of Williams Lake operates its sanitary sewer collection and treatment systems under permit from the Ministry of Environment (MOE) and Wastewater System Effluent Regulations (WSER). Drinking Water Reports
The City of Williams Lake operates its potable water system under permit from the Interior Health Authority (IHA) and under Canadian Drinking Water Guidelines (CDWG). The City draws its water from five deep wells. The supply is then pumped into four different pressure zones, through four booster stations and is held in nine reservoirs.
