The City of Williams Lake (CWL) is requesting the submission of proposals from qualified proponents to complete a geotechnical review within the City limits of the CWL. This will facilitate the accurate review and modification of existing geotechnical hazard areas as required and update the existing geotechnical hazard map. The City provides many services to residents including, community planning, development approvals, utilities, and emergency management within the City limits. The final report and updated geotechnical hazard map are intended to support the effective delivery of City’s services and allow the CWL to develop land-use policies to better inform and guide residents on the geotechnical conditions of the land.
The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be used to identify the preferred proponent to undertake the geotechnical review. All proposals received in response to this RFP will be evaluated in accordance with the evaluation criteria and the proponent judged to have the best overall proposal will be selected to enter negotiations leading to an Agreement for Services with the CWL for this project.
